FRISCO LAKESHORE RETREAT
FRISCO LAKESHORE RETREAT
From dark and drab burgundies and dark wood tones, Twilly & Fig interior designers created a transitional design style lakeshore retreat for a special couple. Entertaining in light and airy rooms transitioning from traditional to verging contemporary, the client loved the modern elements mixed with art deco patterns and lines. The transitional interior design project is a fan favorite on our Houzz. Award Winning Houzz interior designers.

Scope:
Update an early dark 2000’s home to a comfortable brighter home for entertaining. Twilly & Fig designers selected all paint colors, wall finishes, wallpaper, and finishes. The client wanted to omit all browns and burgundy colors and incorporate lighter finishes and furnishings. Window coverings needed to be practical yet functional with some challenging windows in the dining room area.
client’s story:
The clients love to entertain family and friends. They love watching Ohio State games with their dog Abby. Stemming from Napa Valley wine tours, they also love hues of plums and teal blue skies. The clients wanted functionality, light colors, and as little stained furniture or elements as possible.
